Found THE pair of boots but they are online only and I have the most awkward feet for boots. They are the new Bordello Boots by Pleaser. I keep hearing they run big and small and I only have 5 weeks to the performance and dont have enough time to buy and send back for a differentt size.
They are the black and red Victorian button spat front low heel boots
Anyone know if they run to size and if not whether they run small or big? I normally take a UK 4 but have a broadish foot and a narrow heel which is my curse!

Tue, September 22, 2009 - 8:00 AMDancing in Pleaser USA boots? It doesn't matter how the sizes run, don't buy them. They're a cheap american company marketed mostly for adult halloween costumes. I've owned boots from them before, and I don't recommend them. They just don't last, and you might pop the heel off in the middle of your performance. -

I've owned many pairs of boots by Demonia (owned by the same company as Pleaser) and they've held up fairly well. I also stripped in exclusively Pleaser brand shoes and never had an issue with them once- and that was wearing them for 7+ hours a day. -

Wed, September 23, 2009 - 7:30 PMReally? My demonias crapped out on me, quickly. I've never stripped, but I wear my boots up on my feet all day, and dancing, and I walk because I don't own a car. Does stripping cause similar wear? -

Fri, September 25, 2009 - 7:18 AMWell, I was on my feet constantly (lots of walking back and forth, up and down stairs all day- not much downtime in this club), although I didn't wear my higher Pleaser heels on the sidewalk/street so the wear was probably a little different on those. I had a pair of the COMBAT-208s that lasted forever on me when I didn't have a car and walked everywhere. They also fit my fat little calves, which gets major bonus points in my book. :) The insoles aren't great so I usually slap in a pair of Dr. Scholl's or something. I have noticed a difference in quality between the shoes bought directly from Demonia and the shoes made by Demonia but bought from a store like Hot Topic. It might just be in my head though.

Thu, September 24, 2009 - 7:58 AMIn my experience they run a little big. But I also have a narrow foot. I've owned several pairs of Demonia and Pleaser shoes and have not had a problem with them. I would however reherse the hell out of your routine in them, because having had a nasty fall in 5" platforms, it isn't fun or graceful! :) -
